Book Review on ‘It’s her’said the Heart by Arun Prasath Kadirvel

‘It’s her’said the Heart by Arun Prasath Kadirvel is a Romance novel.

About the story:

The story whirls around protagonist Yadav, a young chap who pursues his dream, and falls in love with his cousin Meera. His love was so pure but one sided, yet he never gave up things in his life. They met each other in an Anniversary of Meera’s parents that held in Chennai. Love at first sight.
But Meera was residing in Hong Kong with her parents and pursuing her medicine in Singapore. Distance becomes a big hurdle in his love, yet he never meant it as a hurdle.

What happens next? How will he propose her? Will they destine to meet each other? Will Yadav succeed to get his love? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

Being his debut novel, the author has penned down his thoughts for a love story in a beautiful way. I felt the story meant to be an autobiography rather than a fiction work.

All the characters were given importance in an appropriate manner and maintained the same throughout the story. The plot of the story is little different compared to normal love stories, yet had a light replica of usual romance novels.

Certain places I felt bit dragging, especially when he meets Meera in Singapore. Moreover his college life could have been elaborated by adding more interesting events which could have made an added flavour to the story.

The language was kept simple and is a short read. The author’s perspective of love looks exemplary and gave an added touch to the story. Yadav travel to Singapore to meet Meera was little dramatic yet it was a turning point to the story.

I would recommend this book to all readers who prefer to read Romance fiction.

My rating is ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for this dramatic novel.

Book Review on Blood and Beloved: A collection of dark poetry from Hell by Krimson Ravyn

Blood and Beloved: A collection of dark poetry from Hell by Krimson Ravyn is a Gothic poem.

We have read poems mostly related to love, anger, hatred, ego, unsaid feelings etc., Can a poem be written in a Gothic form? Yes, our author as written such a beautiful book with horror blended into a perfect poem sending chills down our spine. Each poem gives a magical touch and reveals the hidden darkness like a flow of waterfall.

It’s the title that intrigued me to read this vivid book. A collection of 45 poems, with interesting and captivating title of each poem was an exemplary work. Certain poems laid an impact of ever lasting impressions.

Usage of hard words could have been avoided, so that it would be easy for the readers to apprehend it. We could sense the essence of Gothic flavour maintained throughout the book which is an added advantage and makes this book more unique.

The author has penned downed the soundless screaming that each heart is bounded with. I admire the author’s effort and appreciate for picking a unique genre and confined into a beautiful poem.

I liked” I died twice”, “The book of Shadows” and “Blood of my Valentine” the most. I would like to recommend this book to all readers who like to explore new genre written with gothic effect and maintained its quality throughout the book.

My rating is 🌟🌟🌟🌟 for this Gothic poem.

Book Review on Sometimes it happens by Karan Sharma

Sometimes it Happens by Karan Sharma is a fiction work and falls under romance genre.

About the story:

The story whirls around protagonist Gautam, a 25-year-old chap falls in love with Roshni, a Senior Management member who works in an MNC. Roshni is elder to Gautam and they have an age difference of 12 years, yet his love towards her was so magical that the age difference was not a hurdle to him.

But for Roshni it’s always a burden to take forward the relationship, yet she loved him whole heartedly. With lot of twist and turns their engagement was finally fixed crossing those hurdles. But some unexpected thing happened which turned down the entire scenario.

What happens next? Will they succeed marrying each other? Else fate has some other role for them? Will society be a hurdle for their marriage? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

The plot of the story is so practical as we can judge with the current Society having marriages with age difference. But the societal barrier is one such thing that always come in between even if two hearts likely to move forward.

But society never fails to point out things when it goes out of line even though, they (society) have so many problems on their own. Love is blind is one true saying and age is not a barrier for it. Gautam’s love towards Roshni was sturdy, yet external factors had influence to splinter it.

I liked about the humor thing described, especially when Gautam proposes a 60 years old woman. For a moment I thought she was the one he meant to love in this story but thank God it was not so.

Full of love, emotions, anger, friendship and relationship blended together formed this beautiful story and appreciate the authors effort to do so.
This book is a short bite with a pragmatic storyline and the language kept simple. The pacing of the story is precise and intact. The characters were placed appropriately without fading over a period.

Overall it was a nice read and I would recommend to readers who are fan of romance genre.
My ratings are 🌟🌟🌟🌠 for this vivid book.

Book Review on Song of life - A poetic retelling of Mahabharatha by Anuradha Singh

Song of Life – A poetic retelling of Mahabharatha by Anuradha Singh is a short-read mythology retold in the form of poem.

Retelling the tale of Mahabharatha in such a compact way shows the brilliance of the author.
It recollects the name and places of the epic and takes a quick ride into the story enjoying every lines of the book. Refreshing memories with long gone epic, retold in a modern verse in a laudable manner.
The major and important moments of the story is captured, and it gave a fulfilling thought while reading this book. The best part of the book is that the language was simple and easy to read, throwing light on important event and told in a narrative manner.

I really appreciate the authors effort in retelling an epic into a minuscule manner is applaudable.
Usually I don’t comment about the book cover, yet I felt the cover looks pretty cute and simple. Young people who are tired of reading big epic books, can read and enjoy this beautiful book.

Book Review on The tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris

The tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris genre comes under historical fiction & biographical fiction.

About the story:

Protagonist Lale, transported to Auschwitz during a war in the period 1942. Being a Jew, he has one thought in his mind to survive the situation. He fells in love with Gita who is also a prisoner in the camp.

What happens next? Will he survive this death trap? Will he join in hand with Gita? What fate decides to play with them? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

This story is based on true events that happened in the year 1942. I am not much of a historical fiction reader yet took this book based on the recommendation from few of my friends.
The story was intriguing, and the pages just flipped so fast that I can’t keep the book down. My heart was broken, and tears rolled while reading the struggle of innocent people who were put to death and were exploited without mercy or humanity.

The plot of the story was good as the author concentrated on the exclusive salient features of it. Love is one such essence that was mixed in the story to make it as a perfect novel.
Certain places felt more of dramatic scenarios, yet it made us flicker in those moments and pull into the truth of reality. Fate plays a vital role in everyone’s life and those who master it can survive the situation.
Lale was brave enough to undergo such scenarios makes him to be a real hero. If he meant to be a hero, it doesn’t mean that he should save everyone but at least he put his effort by helping people and offering them what he can do with his abilities.

The author has made efforts to explore and learn the truth behind the event happened and gave us a heart welcoming story. This book is full of tragedies, miseries, screaming, love etc., forms the perfect blend of the story.
I would recommend to all readers who are fan of War based stories and has heart to withstand miseries.
My rating is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌠 for this vivid Novel.

Unknown Facts of the Story: (Not part of the story)
• Lale’s parents were transported to the camp after 2 days when Lale left and was put to death, but Lale was unaware of it.
• Gita met Cilka only once after they departed from the camp.

Book Review on The Perfect Drug by Chaitanya Saini

The Perfect Drug by Chaitanya Saini is a self-help book.

About the story:

The story whirls around protagonist Ananya, an intelligent boy who adores science. He lives in his Aunt’s place for pursuing his studies. A lovely family with sisters around, he visits his parents during the holidays. Ananya’s friends were caring and lovable.

He falls in love with Anushree, but the relationship didn’t survive long. It gave him a major heart break, and there comes a twist in this story. Due to this he became pathetic, but his professor build trust on him and motivated Ananya to achieve his dream.

As a goal getter he decided to invent something new that could achieve enlightenment for oneself.

Will he achieve his goal? What did he invent? Will that be a boon or curse? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

The title is apt to the story as it involves inventing a substance to achieve enlightenment. Its more about science related stuffs, and the components with their composition mentioned in the story makes it to look like a Science book.

This book contains more than spirituality. Whether it may be new concepts, thinking, arriving at conclusions all are unique in the way presented.

The in between poetry lines describing “Anushree” was admirable. Maybe the author could even write poems and publish as a separate book.

This book cannot fall under a single genre, it can be treated as a science fiction, self-help, love etc., as it explains each part with their own importance.

We can find too many characters involved and fading of them may be seen in the story. The language was kept simple, other than the technical argots used, and I felt the story was bit dragging as it was too detailed when it comes with the family and friends.

I would recommend this book to those readers who is passion about science and who would like to explore new genres.

My ratings 🌟🌟🌟🌠 for this vivid novel.
