Book Review on The Perfect Drug by Chaitanya Saini

The Perfect Drug by Chaitanya Saini is a self-help book.

About the story:

The story whirls around protagonist Ananya, an intelligent boy who adores science. He lives in his Aunt’s place for pursuing his studies. A lovely family with sisters around, he visits his parents during the holidays. Ananya’s friends were caring and lovable.

He falls in love with Anushree, but the relationship didn’t survive long. It gave him a major heart break, and there comes a twist in this story. Due to this he became pathetic, but his professor build trust on him and motivated Ananya to achieve his dream.

As a goal getter he decided to invent something new that could achieve enlightenment for oneself.

Will he achieve his goal? What did he invent? Will that be a boon or curse? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

The title is apt to the story as it involves inventing a substance to achieve enlightenment. Its more about science related stuffs, and the components with their composition mentioned in the story makes it to look like a Science book.

This book contains more than spirituality. Whether it may be new concepts, thinking, arriving at conclusions all are unique in the way presented.

The in between poetry lines describing “Anushree” was admirable. Maybe the author could even write poems and publish as a separate book.

This book cannot fall under a single genre, it can be treated as a science fiction, self-help, love etc., as it explains each part with their own importance.

We can find too many characters involved and fading of them may be seen in the story. The language was kept simple, other than the technical argots used, and I felt the story was bit dragging as it was too detailed when it comes with the family and friends.

I would recommend this book to those readers who is passion about science and who would like to explore new genres.

My ratings 🌟🌟🌟🌠 for this vivid novel.
