Book Review on Gwendy's Button Box by Stephen King

Gwendys button box by Stephen King is a short novella.

About the story:

The story whirls around protagonist Gwendy, a twelve year old girl gets to meet a stranger named Mr. Farris. He ought to be a man of mystery, initially Gwendy fears and hesitates to speak with him. But finally she gets a Button box from Mr.Farris with so many colorful buttons each has their own mystery involved.
What happens next? Did Gwendy invites an unwanted trouble? What impact does it make in her life? lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

The book is an average read and fast pacing. Stephen King's book are always horror in nature but this one is totally different with tragedy involved but not much to the expectations. Yet we can feel the unknown fear  about what will happen next? will the protagonist faces something worse or will she be safe. All these unexpected deaths in the story holds the story to be on par with horror genre.

My rating is ⭐⭐⭐ for this sombre read.
