"Book Review on Kaalkoot by S.Venkatesh"

Kaalkoot by S. Venkatesh is a science fiction linked with Bio war.

About the story:

The story whirls around protagonist Sam aka Sameer, a bank agent unexpectedly drawn into something dangerous while searching his missing girlfriend Ananya. He is meant to achieve something big which is too much for a normal person.
Other part of story deals with Prof. Bani who involves in a research work seeking the veracity, that happened before our independence and its root cause leading to current situation linking Bio-War.
And there is an agent named Damini who is under secret mission, with her team to find the truth about some external terrorist activities that is flourishing in the country.
All the three were destined to meet and identify the same thing connecting Bio-war, yet their purpose were different.
What happens next? What were they destined to find? Was it a threat to the country? Will they succeed in solving the mystery that led to Bio-war? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the book:

The plot of the story is beautifully written. Initial pages were little confusing with too many characters and grasping names of the new places and events were bit difficult, yet when we continue to read, it makes things gradually fell in place.
The pacing of the story is good and makes us intrigued creating an eagerness to know what will happen next. The characters as they meet each other gives the actual essence of the story and the action adventure is remarkable.
Too many characters can be found yet their part is subtle and significant.
I admire Sam’s character more, being a protagonist risks his life in finding her girlfriend and finally saves the world. Damini played her part very beautifully yet she could have been portrayed more in terms of identifying and solving the mysteries on other hand Sam was given the focus even though he was a lay man in this prospect. Bravery and patriotism is the wholly delineated in this story.
Bio-war is a major threat to all countries, the author has beautifully depicted its impact and given an insight about it with a fundamental understanding to all.
Overall, it’s an adventurous journey filled with mystery, death, chaos, bravery, patriotism etc., I would like to recommend this book to sci fic readers.

My rating is 🌟🌟🌟🌟 for this beautiful book.
