The Chapter Black by Bushra Rahmani is a debut novel.

The story whirls around protagonist Alishbah, a young girl who faces unexpected tragedy in her life.

Being an elder daughter in her family, loses her parents and takes responsibility of looking after her little sister Inayah. There comes a storm in her life, where she was allegedly abused by his own uncle Zafar and becomes an acid victim, that changes her entire life.

Alishbah forgets her past and got admitted in a hospital for treatment. She undergoes a chain of incidents that make us heart wrenched. During her treatment she meets Arzan a lab technician, and pretends to know him, but Arzan has no clue of who she is?

Will she remember her past? Who is this Arzan? Will she avenge for her tragedy? Lies the suspense of the story.

About the Book:

This story is a fiction work, about an acid victim. The title itself reveals about the darkest chapter of the protagonist life and the title is very apt.

Can hatred make oneself to lose his sense and act ruthlessly? Yes, there are people who avenge for their hatred, anger, ego etc., People should know the pain of the outcome, before indulging themselves in these kinds of cruel activities. This story clearly reveals the truth of how one can act to extreme if he is in revenge mode.

Even now women is treated in a low manner and it still exists in some parts of our country, leading to this kind of horrible mishaps.

During the climax, the story went bit dragging. All the characters were given equal importance and they played their part perfectly. The language is simple to read, and the pacing of the story is precise and intact.

Overall the story is good, and I would recommend to every adult to read this book to get self-awareness and to know about our current societal status of acid victims.

Unexpected twist, sudden mishaps intrigues us more to know about it.

What happens next? To know more about this story, get a copy of it now.

And I would like to rate 🌟🌟🌟🌟 for this fiction work.
